The method of connecting different polymers via intra or inter- molecular linkings through a chemical bond is known as Cross Linking. Generally, this procedure is irreversible. Crosslinking enhances the thermal visibility and mechanical properties of the polymers. Substance/mixture of a substance are added to a plastic composition to assist crosslinking and curing reactions are called crosslinking/curing or polymerization additives.
